The environmental tests involved in general electronic products include climatic tests and mechanical vibration tests.
Climatic tests include: low temperature storage test, high temperature storage test, low temperature work test, high temperature work test, thermal test, temperature cycle test, alternating damp heat test, low temperature limit test, high temperature limit test and noise test.
Mechanical vibration tests include: packaging random vibration test, packaging collision test, packaging drop packaging impact, simulated packaging and transportation test, field sports car, random vibration, shock test, working sinusoidal vibration, work shock test, and earthquake test.
1. The purpose of environmental testing includes the following points:
1) In the product development stage, evaluate whether the reliability of the product can reach the predetermined index.
2) In the product production stage, monitor the production process for quality control fluctuations.
3) Before the product is released, the environmental reliability of the product shall be identified or accepted.
4) Reliability improvement: Expose and analyze the failure laws and related failure modes and failure mechanisms of products under different environmental and stress conditions, and make targeted improvements.
Second, the environmental test has the following points to note:
1) The whole system is grounded according to the actual situation, otherwise the actual use situation cannot be simulated.
2) Keep the test instrument well grounded to ensure the safety of testers.
3) For the endurance test, the test engineer must guard the test site to prevent accidents caused by test failures. And a danger warning sign must be added in the test area.
1. Low temperature storage test:
Test standard: GB/T 2423.1-2008
Test environment: -40℃ 72H
The number and status of mobile phones: 2, shut down when the temperature is low
Test purpose: low temperature application function test
Test method: Put the battery in the phone, turn it off, and put it on the shelf in the temperature test box. Gradually cool down to -40°C at a rate of change with an average value of not more than 3°C/min. After the temperature is stable, it lasts for 72 hours (the mass production prototype is taken out within 24 hours), and it is placed for 2 hours to return to normal temperature.
2. High temperature storage experiment
Test standard: GB/T 2423.2-2008
Test environment: +70℃ 72H
Number and status of mobile phones: 2 units, shut down when high temperature
Test purpose: high temperature application function test
Test method: Put the mobile phone on the shelf in the temperature test box without the battery. Gradually increase the temperature to +70°C at a rate of change with an average value of not more than 3°C/min. After the temperature is stable for 72 hours, take it out, leave it for 2 hours, return to normal temperature, and then check the structure, software and hardware functions.
3. High temperature and high humidity storage
Test standard: GB/T 2423.3-2018
Test environment: 70℃, 93%~97%RH 72H
The number and status of mobile phones: 2, off
Test purpose: To test the high temperature and high humidity resistance of the prototype
Test method: Insert the battery, turn off the mobile phone, put it on the shelf in the temperature and humidity test box, take it out after 72 hours, return to normal temperature for 2 hours, and then check the appearance, structure and software and hardware functions.
4. Low temperature work
Test standard: GB/T 2423.1-2008
Test environment: -40℃ for 24 hours
Number and status of mobile phones: 2 units, turn off and then on
Test purpose: low temperature application performance test
Test method: Fully charge the battery of the mobile phone, insert the SIM card, put the mobile phone in the off state, put it on the shelf in the temperature test box, and gradually cool down to -40 °C with an average rate of no more than 3 °C/min for 24 hours. , the phone starts to work after the temperature is stable. In this environment, conduct a call test with an external mobile phone, call for 5 minutes, and finally check the electrical performance parameters and functions (including mobile phone button/side button feel, battery cover pulling force, long-term video recording, and whether the touch function is normal).
5. High temperature work
Test standard: GB/T 2423.2-2008
Test environment: 55℃ for 24 hours
Number and status of mobile phones: 2 units, turn off and then on
Test purpose: high temperature application performance test
Test method: Fully charge the battery of the mobile phone, insert the SIM card, turn off the mobile phone, put it on the shelf in the temperature test box, and gradually heat up to 55 °C with an average rate of no more than 3 °C/min. After the temperature is stable, the mobile phone Start the boot work. In this environment, it will last for 24 hours and conduct a call test with an external mobile phone, call for 5 minutes, and check electrical performance parameters and functions (including mobile phone buttons/side buttons feel, battery cover pulling force, long-term video recording, and whether the touch function is normal) .
6. Constant heat and humidity work
Test standard: GB/T 2423.3-2018
Test environment: +55℃, 93%~95%RH
Number and status of mobile phones: 2 units, turn off first and then turn on
Test purpose: high temperature and high humidity application performance test
Test method: Fully charge the battery of the mobile phone, turn on the mobile phone, put it on the shelf in the temperature test box, and work for 4 hours. After the temperature stabilizes, the phone starts to work. In this environment, the appearance, structure, and functions of the mobile phone are checked every 2 hours.
7. Disassembly inspection:
Number and status of mobile phones: 2, disassemble after shutdown
Test method: disassemble and inspect the whole machine to check whether there are any abnormal phenomena such as components falling off, loose components, or other structural damage (including whether the effect of the key light guide film tube is obvious), corrosion, hidden dangers of product quality, etc.
8. High temperature charging test:
Test environment: 55±3℃
The number and status of mobile phones: 2, off
Test purpose: to verify the charging performance of the prototype under high temperature conditions
experiment method:
1. Install the supporting low-power battery (which has been discharged to automatic shutdown) on the tested prototype, put it into an environmental test box with an ambient temperature of 52°C together with the charger for 1 hour, and then test the current voltage of the battery;
2. Plug the prototype into the charger in the high temperature environment box, and turn on the power to charge the battery, and check whether the mobile phone can display the charging status normally (if it cannot be charged normally at the beginning, take out the prototype and carry out charging inspection at normal temperature, and wait for After normal charging at room temperature, put it into the environmental box for testing);
3. Charge in the high temperature box for 6 hours, and check whether the charging status of the mobile phone is normal every 1 hour or so. (The specific time can be changed according to the battery capacity)
Test conditions:
Under the environment of 52℃: It can be charged normally within 4h, and it can show that the charging is completed, and the battery voltage is ≥4.1V, then it is judged as OK; (the specific time can be changed according to the battery capacity), and the full charging time is recorded.
